Training Syllabus

 

The trainer will model how to reach learning goals using various technologies.

 

  1. Teaching Reading Comprehension Skills and Strategies Using Word, Excel, PPT, and Internet Resources.
  2. Teaching Math Problem Solving and Reasoning Using Real Time Data, Excel, PPT, and Wikis
  3. Building Science Vocabulary and Inquiry Skills Using Interactive and Web Based Simulations
  4. Developing Research and Presentation Skills Using the Internet, PPT and Windows Movie Maker
  5. Learning Communication and Collaboration Skills Using Wikis
  6. Developing Content Area Reading and Writing Skills Using the Internet, PPT, Community Clips, and Windows Movie Maker
  7. Teaching Mini-Courses Using Web Based Curricula
  8. Differentiating Learning by Using Authoring Tools

All attendees will get a free copy of the LodeStar Learning authoring tool ($159 value) and a CD of Microsoft Learning Essentials Tools, and all of the examples demonstrated during the day of training.
